ONORIO

Uva Sangiovese A red coloured wine like the imperial purple of Rome, it is a blend of red grapes: Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet and Ciliegiolo and recalls the nineteenth century wine Rosso Matelica, with the same bouquet and structure. Onorio was the enemy of the Roman emperor Alarico, as it is now rival for excellence in the clash between white and red wines of the territory. Fermented from slightly overly matured grapes and aged in oak barrels, Onorio draws emotions and delicate hints of aged wood. From the aging process (it is sold at about two years from harvest), this powerful red assumes important organoleptic properties and a balance between structure and softness, body and colour, that awakens feelings and emotions.

A new and anciently noble wine.
